The terms and conditions are set out below.

Aims

The Refrigerated Transport Information Service ("the Service") has been formed for the purpose of disseminating information connected with and relevant to the business carried out by the members of the Service ("the Members") and providing an information resource for the Members and such other services as are provided for in these rules. 

Qualification for Membership

A person or body corporate shall be eligible to apply for admission as a Member of the Service on and subject to the terms of these Rules.

Application for Membership

(a) Any person or body corporate applying for membership shall do so in writing to the Technical Director at CRT, 140 Newmarket Road, Cambridge, CB5 8HE. Admission to membership of the Service shall be in the sole and absolute discretion of CRT, which shall not be obliged to give reasons for its decisions.

(c) Each Member shall pay an annual subscription of such amount as the CRT may from time to time determine. The first annual subscription shall be payable by the end of the calendar month following notification of admission and each subsequent annual subscription by the end of the calendar month following notification from CR T of renewal of membership and of the amount due.

(d) Renewal of Membership from year to year shall be in the sole and absolute discretion of CR T which shall notify each Member of its discretion but shall not be obliged to give reasons for any refusal to renew.

Facilities Available to Members

Membership of the Service shall entitle each Member to the information services detailed.

Restrictions

All Members shall at all times comply with these Rules and any other guidelines or regulations published from time to time by CRT and shall in addition observe all rules of law relating to the use of information or services enjoyed as Members of the Service. 

Termination of Membership

(a) Membership shall be for the duration of the initial period, with no provision for early termination, and shall be for the duration of the initial period, with no provision for early termination, and shall continue from year to year, unless terminated by either party giving a minimum of six months written notice to expire at the end of the initial period or a subsequent anniversary of that date.

(b) The CRT may in its sole and absolute discretion expel without refund of annual subscription paid, any Member from the Service on giving written notice to that effect in the event that the Member fails to observe any provision of these Rules or any guidelines or regulations made pursuant to these Rules or otherwise acts in a way which the CRT considers renders him or it unfit for membership of the Service or tends to being the Service or CR T into Disrepute.

Liability

Whereas all reasonable care will be exercised in the provision of information and advice Cambridge Refrigeration Technology CRT accepts no liability in its application and use.
