CRT provides expertise for industry within the area of environmental testing,
refrigerated systems, insulated structures, refrigerated transport and perishable cargo storage.
| At our Cambridge (U.K.) site, we have five environmental test chambers
where we can test, develop or temperature map equipment including, refrigerated cabinets,
bottle coolers, refrigerated containers, refrigerated road transport
equipment,
industrial machinery, air-conditioning equipment and the storage of perishables.
In our laboratories we carry out a range of services including IP
testing, taint testing, vibration testing, airflow testing and
ethylene gas testing.
Technical services are also provided including consultancy, food
legislation, food labeling and acting as
expert witnesses relating to refrigerated transport, commercial and industrial refrigeration.
RTIS is a subscription cargo information service.

CRT also offers refrigeration related training including a recently
added F gas course.
The refrigerated vehicle test centre (RVTC) is the managing agent for ATP in the UK on behalf of the Department for Transport (DfT).
